Located in the middle of the centre and only a few steps away from the market square, the town hall and – like the name suggests – immediately in front of the famous Cathedral of Our Lady. In the lobby you can read through piles of news papers in front of the fireplace and in the rooms you can study the walls, which are covered with enlarged paintings of old masters. Far away from being a snug boutique hotel, the rooms are still individually designed. Architect Jo Peeters left them in dark colours and partly with open bathrooms with rainfall showers, and all rooms have a fireplace. Of course the nicest rooms are the “Cathedral Rooms”, which have a direct view on the gothic construction.
